A jury found a Montgomery man guilty on Thursday of nine charges connected to the sexual abuse of three children in a span of 16 years.
Daniel Baggett, 49, was found guilty on four counts of sexual abuse of a child less than 12, four counts of sodomy first-degree and sexual torture, court records show.
Baggett was arrested on 17 charges, which also included five counts of possessing pornography of a child, in August 2014. He was arrested a month after Montgomery police launched an investigation into possible sexual abuse of a child.
Baggett was accused of abusing three young children from 1988 to 2004.
Before being convicted on Thursday, Baggett was out of jail on $250,000 since his December 2015 indictment. He was remanded into custody after a jury found him guilty on nine counts following a weeklong trial.
