DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - Authorities in Bucks County have announced more charges against a man who is suspected of being a serial child rapist.
William Charles Thomas, 58, of Morrisville, is accused of sexual assaults against children that date back 40 years and continue into the present.
On Monday, the Bucks County DA’s office announced the new charges alleging Thomas sexually assaulted a girl throughout the mid to late 90’s.
Police say during their investigation they found writings, authored by Thomas, that detail the assaults on the prepubescent girl.
Thomas now faces a slew of new charges including rape, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors, and others.
Thomas was arrested in January on child pornography and child rape charges after descriptions were found written on the wall of a trailer Thomas had worked in as a handyman.
The Bucks County District Attorney's Office and police continue to search for any children who were abused by Thomas during the four decades he was active as well as for anyone who may have hired him or known him.
As a community service, the Network of Victim Assistance (NOVA) has a 24-Hour Victim Support Hotline at 1-800-675-6900 for anyone that has concerns about child abuse or questions.
