A Harley Street psychotherapist who specialises in sex addition is accused of raping a 14-year-old boy at a leisure centre.
Nicholas Gully, 47, is alleged to have raped and sexually assaulted the teen in the men's toilet at the King Alfred Leisure Centre in Hove on January 29.
Married father-of-two Gully, who works at the top Brunswick Clinic in central London, denied two offences of sexual assault and one of rape at Hove Crown Court.
Asked how he pleaded to the final charge of rape, he replied: 'Absolutely not guilty.'
On Gully's website he says he has worked in psychotherapy for over 27 years and is a specialist in sex and love addiction.
He is well-known across the profession and practises in the UK and abroad.
Gully has also held senior positions in some of the leading addiction treatment centres in the country, including the Priory Hospital in London.
The psychotherapist was questioned after the boy claimed he had been sexually assaulted at the leisure centre.
Gully, from Rottingdean in Brighton, was arrested two days later and charged by police.
Although he was not seriously injured, the boy was left severely shocked by the attack and has been receiving specialist support.
Detectives are also appealing for a couple who were at the King Alfred on the afternoon of the alleged rape.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: 'The man and woman were in the reception area. 'The man went into the toilets just after 2.10pm while the woman waited on a settee.
'He came out a few moments later and the couple left the centre together. Without realising it, this couple, who we emphasise are regarded solely as potential witnesses, may have valuable information.'
Gully was remanded in custody and will go on trial in July.
