TAYLOR COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - An investigator with the Taylor County Sheriff's Office has joined the hunt for a technology-savvy sex offender suspect accused of sexually assaulting multiple child victims while he interned and worked at Abilene churches in the 1990s.

This investigator obtained a search warrant to get account, purchase, wish list, and user information from associated with Jeffrey Winston Forrest because the investigator believes Forrest has been making purchases online to help him remain a Fugitive from Justice.
Court documents say there has been no contact or communication from Forrest since he missed his trial date for two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child in Taylor County one year ago.
In the documents, the Taylor County Sheriff's investigator who obtained the search warrant says Forrest is "known to be extremely computer literate and a frequent consumer of the latest and most current computer technology," and has "made a living by using computers and internet technology".
However, a source close to Forrest told the investigator Forrest frequently made purchases from and the investigator believes it highly likely he's still making purchases due to his "reliance on electronic technology for life sustenance and a matter of convenience"
The search warrant for Forrest's information was granted on March 23, 2017. The returns from that search warrant have not been made public.
This search warrant was filed after the investigator learned Forrest may have sexually assaulted other victims that live or lived in rural Taylor County.
Right now, Forrest is only facing the two Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child charges he was set to stand trial for last April.
Forrest was originally arrested on these charges in Denton County, Texas, in April of 2015.
Court documents reveal at least one victim told detectives that Forrest was sexually abusive in September of 1993.
Forrest was this victim's after-school daycare teacher and the victim claims the sexual abuse continued until the child was in 8th grade, according to the documents.
The Abilene Police Department says at least three victims have come forward with similar allegations.
Anyone who knows where Jeff Forrest may be hiding is asked to call Abilene Crimestoppers at (325)676-8477.

A district judge Wednesday sent an Iraqi man to prison for sexually abusing two young girls in Lincoln.
Tarik Mohammed, 44, denied the allegations that he sexually touched two sisters, one when she was 10 or 11, the other on her 14th birthday.
But a Lancaster County jury found him guilty of two counts of third-degree sexual assault of a child at trial in February.
It was a pattern of behavior that went unchecked for a very long time and caused great harm,” District Judge Jodi Nelson said Wednesday before giving Mohammed six to 10 years in prison, at the top end of the 10-year max.
She called it a violation of trust at the highest level and not the kind of crime appropriate for probation.
At trial, one of the girls testified she was 10 or 11, in fifth grade, when he called her to a bedroom to read an email in English, then pulled her closer, took off her shirt and touched her. He covered her mouth with his hand, she said.
She didn't tell anyone until Oct. 31, 2015, when she started crying because she didn't want to go to his house and told an older sister he had touched her in bad ways.
That day, another of her sisters said he had touched her inappropriately, too, on her 14th birthday.
Police arrested Mohammed, and prosecutors charged him with two counts of third-degree sexual assault of a child, which led to a trial that started Feb. 6.
There, jurors heard from the two girls and two others who said Mohammed had raped them, one in Iraq, the other in Syria. Because it didn't happen here, he couldn’t be charged on those allegations, but the judge ruled the jury could hear about them.
A Spanish ex-professional footballer who came to Britain posing as a male nanny so he could sexually abuse children has been jailed for 11 years.
Jose Castellano-Gonzales, 25, from Tenerife, used the glamour of his high-flying career in Spain to entice families with football-mad sons.
He was signed to the B team at Tenerife at a time when the A team were in La Liga, the top division, and playing the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Castellano-Gonzales was employed by a family in Devon in 2015 as an au pair for their three sons, but he abused one of the boys and three of his school friends.
He also sexually assaulted a fifth child when he was hired by a second family in Bedfordshire.
Castellano-Gonzales denied 13 sex assaults involving five boys aged eight to 11 but was convicted by a jury at Exeter Crown Court.
The families of his victims wept as he was found guilty - and then gasped as he continued to protest his innocence.
Asked by Judge Geoffrey Mercer if he had anything to say before he was sentenced Castellano-Gonzales, wearing a tracksuit, replied: "Simply that I'm innocent."
You clearly have a sexual interest in young boys.
To describe what you did as a breach of trust is a gross understatement.
The damage you have caused is untold and what you did has totally understandably had profound effects on whole families.
Castellano-Gonzales was told that he would have to serve a further year on licence and he was also given a sexual harm prevention order barring him from interacting with boys under the age of 16.
When the details of the order were explained he asked the judge: "Is this order just for the UK?"

A College Station man was arrested Tuesday on charges he sexually abused three girls for nearly seven years.
According to College Station police, a woman reported three girls under the age of 14 told her they had been touched inappropriately by 36-year-old Leopoldo Rodriguez Pena, whom they knew. The girls were taken to Scotty's House for forensic interviews.
A police report states one girl detailed years of abuse, saying Pena had touched her inappropriately numerous times over a six-and-a-half-year period. The girl stated Pena would often tell her he loved her and had tried to kiss her in public.
The second child also told of being continuously touched inappropriately by Pena and detailed an incident where she locked a door to keep him away, but he broke it down, the police report states. A third girl also told an interviewer that Pena had touched her several times.
When police interviewed Pena at his home and asked if he had ever touched the girls, he responded, "Not that I know of," according to police reports.
Pena is charged with continuous sexual abuse of a victim under 14, a first-degree felony punishable by up to 99 years in prison and $10,000 in fines. Pena is being held at the Brazos County Jail on $100,000 bond.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Tallahassee couple has been arrested on charges related to the sexual assault of a helpless victim under the age of 16.
Shane Ebright, 34, and Marylynn Muncaster, 23, were arrested on Monday after police were called to investigate a potential sexual battery.
According to a probable cause document, the victim was picked up by Muncaster, who also had with her Ebright and with two others, were driving around Leon County on April 22.
When they finished visiting various places, they went to the Muncaster and Ebright's house where they all began drinking and playing games. The victim also told police that she had been smoking weed.
At some point, the two others had left, leaving Ebright, Muncaster, and the victim inside the home. The document said that the victim laid down on the couple's bed, due to being very intoxicated.
Muncaster told police that she had believed that the victim had gone to sleep, so she and Ebright began having sex on the bed, next to the victim.
The victim said that eventually, Ebright started "trying to involve" them in the couple's intercourse. The documents said that Ebright finally stopped when the victim began crying.
After that, Ebright left the house and slept outside in the car.
Both were arrested and taken to Leon County Jail. Ebright was charged with sexual assault. Muncaster was charged with child abuse and lewd and lascivious behavior with a victim less than 16-years-old.

FAIRBANKS — A 25-year-old man was sentenced to serve 14 years in prison Wednesday for the sexual abuse of two girls during the past two years.
Under the terms of a plea agreement, Stephen James Payton pleaded guilty to a single count of second-degree felony sexual abuse of a minor.
Payton addressed the families of the girls he abused during his sentencing Wednesday afternoon in Fairbanks.
“I would just like to apologize to the families that I’ve hurt,” he said.
The two girls were 8 and 9 years of age when the abuse began, according to the case against Payton. He had been indicted on 18 counts, including distribution of indecent materials to minors and second-degree sexual abuse of a minor.
Payton will have to register as a sex offender for 15 years and pay the cost of any counseling for the children requested by the families.
Assistant District Attorney Kathryn Baird said the victims’ families agreed with the way the case resolved.
Payton’s court-appointed attorney, Steven Hansen, said he believed Payton had a good chance of rehabilitation because he took responsibility for his actions and sought treatment before police arrested him.
“Although an arrest did not happen immediately to Mr. Payton, he began seeking out treatment for alcohol and sexual abuse,” Hansen said. “In my time, I have never seen that.”

A MAN will appear in court charged with the indecent assault of a teenage boy in a local shopping centre toilet.

David Quinn, 56, has been granted conditional bail over the incident, which happened at the Toormina Gardens Shopping Centre last Friday.

Police will allege a 13-year-old boy was indecently assaulted by a unknown man that morning.

Detectives attached to the State Crime Command Child Abuse Unit were called to investigate.

A NSW Police Media spokesperson said the man was arrested at the shopping centre at 5pm that afternoon and charged with indecent assault on a child aged under 16.

He appeared in a brief bail court hearing at the Coffs Harbour Courthouse on Saturday where strict bail conditions were imposed.

He is to appear in the Coffs Harbour Local Court next Monday.

Police in Kandal province said they were searching on Thursday for a 23-year-old fisherman accused of grabbing an 8-year-old girl he found running along the Mekong River bank and raping her in nearby bushes.
The girl had come to the riverside in Sa’ang district with her aunt and uncle on Wednesday afternoon and was raped when her relatives left her alone, deputy district police chief Say Saravon said.
The suspect, identified as Los Man, immediately fled the scene and the girl’s relatives, who live in Koh Thom district, filed a complaint with the police about three hours later, he said.
According to Mr. Saravon, the girl’s aunt and uncle, who are also fishermen, came to Sa’ang to fish from the river.
The girl’s parents migrated to Thailand and left her in their care, Mr. Saravon said.
The girl was taken to the district health center on Thursday for an examination, and she did not appear to have serious physical injuries, he said.
